Jieying Ming - Director and Head Teacher
Hello! I am Jieying Ming, the founder of Auntie Ming’s Childcare. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow.
I have 15 years of experience working with young children. I was a math teacher in China before moving to the United States. I was a Chinese teacher in a private preschool before starting my own childcare and preschool program.
I completed an Associates Degree in Child Development at City College of San Francisco.
I am fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Philosophy
At Auntie Ming’s Childcare, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.
Auntie Ming’s Child Care is a bilingual licensed family child care in Westwood Park, San Francisco, CA. Auntie Ming has 15 years of experience in teaching and taking care of children. Children are encouraged to participate in various learning activities and getting along with each other. Program provides indoor and outdoor activities to create a fun learning environment for children to learn and develop their physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional skills.
Location
Auntie Ming’s Childcare is located in a warm, bright single family home in the Westwood Park neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
At Auntie Ming’s Childcare, I want to provide a loving home away from home.
