Our Teachers

Hi! I am Angela, the founder of Loving Hands Childcare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I love working with children. Prior to opening my own program, I worked for Child Protective Services in the Family Services department for 20 years. I regularly take Early Childhood Education trainings. I also have an assistant that is here with me full time.

I have 5 children of my own - 4 girls and 1 boy. During my free time, I love to go skating, fishing and playing basketball. We are all huge basketball fans. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Philosophy

At Loving Hands Childcare & Wonderschool, our goal is to create a magical and fun loving environment for our children. We believe that both children and their parents should feel safe, confident and excited to come to our program each day. We strive to be a second home.

Location

Loving Hands Childcare Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming single family home in Northpointe in Sacramento. We are located very close to Taylor Street School and Norwood Junior High School.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests.

We live a 2 minute walk from North Point Park and children will spend time here daily.

About our program

At Loving Hands Wonderschool, we believe that children should be supported based on their individual interests. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for them to become themselves.

We have 10 pet fish in our program. These turtles will be used regularly in the program including science activities, art and learning responsibility.

I provide hot meals for both breakfast and lunch.
