Marisol Torres, Director
Opening Little Oak Childcare Center has long been a dream of mine and I am thrilled that it has finally become a reality. I have worn many professional hats, including roles in social services and managing health clinics, but my true calling is to partner with families to help raise their young children. As a pastor, I have over 18 years of experience running children’s programs and mentoring families in the Greater Pasadena area. My husband, Jose, and I have been pastoring Pasadena Hispanic Foursquare Church since 2011, which is located on the same site as our home, and we are fortunate enough to use the church facilities, including our playground and parking lot, for our home daycare. As a mother myself, I know how important it is to feel a sense of peace when entrusting other adults to care for your children, and I am honored that you would consider Little Oak as a home away from home for your child.

Location

About our program
Our mission is for our home to be your child’s second home, a place where they can feel loved, valued, and free to explore their world. We strive to care for each child with the same level of care we would give to our own. Our home is a place where your child will build friendships, exercise their creativity, and learn through play. We are a licensed facility and all of our staff undergo rigorous training in accordance with best practice child safety protocols such as CPR, first aid, playground safety, health, nutrition, and more. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and safe environment that fosters the physical, social, spiritual, and cognitive development of each child in our care.
