Our Teachers
At RadKidz we have the most incredible, qualified, positive, passionate, educated, and eager staff who are excited to help your children thrive!
ABBEY EDWARDS Founder/Director
Miss Abbey has been a teacher for over 14 years now! She loves being in the outdoors and exploring the world. She grew up right outside of Yosemite National Park, so she feels her best when close to nature! She is married and a mom to two young boys who she adores. Teaching is her passion because she knows how important it is to connect with students and provide and safe, nurturing space for them. Abbey believes that students learn best by “doing” and “being” their true, authentic selves. Her goal is to help each child find their inner strength and passion, then cultivate that so that they thrive in life!

Philosophy

At RadKidz, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.
Location
IronKidz-Outdoor Education/Fitness & Microschool is located in a welcoming, bright home in the Copper Canyon Community- West Murrietta neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts), music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.
At IronKidz-Outdoor Education/Fitness & Microschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.
About our program
Our CURRENT Programs:
Physical activity for your vibrant RADKID should be a part of their everyday activities, with an emphasis on having fun and playing.
We will strive to help your RADKID strengthen their motor skills, such as learning to run, jump, throw, and catch effectively. Physical activities will always be centered around creative games, exploring, and basic movements that will focus on developing your child’s fundamental skills through play, rather than competition.

We hold the belief that school enrichment should be more than just entertaining children for an hour each day. We created a quality program that helps each child develop physical, intellectual, and social skills from 9-14 years of age. Our nurturing and knowledgeable instructors are always present to support the students while facilitating the 21st-century skills-based curriculum. Helping each child develop into the best version of themselves is what sets our after-school enrichment program apart.
