I am the owner and director of STEMkins Academy, a family childcare business that focuses on STEM education. Before starting this business, I worked in IT as a scrum master and project manager. However, after having my daughter and then a surprise second child, my son, I decided to follow my passion for working with children.
I love being around kids because they lift my mood and make me laugh. I appreciate their attitude of not giving up and trying again and again until they succeed. As a mom, I know how important it is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, which is why I started STEMkins Academy. I want to be part of something that I love and help the kids community.
At STEMkins Academy, we believe that every child has the potential to become a successful innovator and problem-solver, which is why we focus on STEM education. Our program is designed to engage children in hands-on learning experiences that spark their curiosity and encourage them to ask questions. Our Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness Program is designed to help children develop the cognitive, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed in school. Our Afterschool Care and Homework Assistance program provides a safe and engaging environment where children can complete their homework and participate in enriching activities. We also offer coding classes for children aged 4 to 12 to help them develop valuable skills they will need in the future.
