Our Teachers

I started my family child care program because, quite simply, I love kids – I have always been a child at heart! I’ve been taking care of children for over 30 years, and am grateful to be able to contribute to their learning and development. Most of all, I never get tired of it!

I’m proud to be working alongside my daughter, Dayna, who is my assistant – and the mother of my beautiful grandchild!

Philosophy

Tiny Toes’ Wonderschool is a warm, nurturing, home-like atmosphere where parents are always a welcome part of our childcare family. Our teaching philosophy is to provide an excellent childcare facility in our community where your child can grow from infancy through the toddler phase and into the preschool years. We encourage hands-on and in the moment care, making everything fun – because that’s how kids like to learn! We also strive to foster sharing and communication, as we believe in the importance of expressing our feelings and treating each other with respect.

Location

Tiny Toes Wonderschool is located in a cozy apartment on a hillside surrounded by trees in the View Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Our home is welcoming and provides children with the comforts of home. As we greet your little ones at the start of each day, their excitement lights up the room. We have extended room inside filled with academic activities, needed materials, and toys that promote learning. Outside, children are free to run around in our private patio area, and are always busy playing hopscotch, hula hoops, or cooking up something delicious in the play kitchen. Children of all ages quickly adapt because we have structured everything with them in mind.

Our neighborhood is tucked in a family culture area where we look out for one another. It’s the main reason why we have a reputation for safety, an excellent business environment, excellent schools, and growing restaurant and entertainment options. It’s also a central location to freeways including the 405, 10, 110 and 90, which all provide convenient access for local and commuting families from around the region.
