Philosophy

The center intends to provide a child lead, developmentally appropriate curriculum where children learn through play and exploration of their environment. These activities promote success for children because they are geared towards developmental stages and individual abilities and interests. Our preschool program supports the use of learning through cognitive growth, multi-cultural awareness, creative growth, and social responsibility. Furthermore, our curriculum and spatial organization of each classroom are designed to facilitate children’s learning by encouraging them to explore, experiment, problem solve, share ideas, and apply knowledge.

About our program

At Pine Tree Preschool we believe that early childhood education is a dynamic relationship between your little one, the teacher, and the environment. Furthermore, we believe in the importance of building strong relationships within the preschool, as well as between home and school. We offer an array of activities for the children to build upon these skills.

So, What is the big deal with preschool?

Often, parents have so many questions about which preschool is the right choice for their child. Do we choose a preschool that will offer academics or a play-based preschool? Or nature-based preschool? So many choices- we know. Stressful- we totally get you. Therefore, we have created a balanced approach to learning that provides our educators the opportunity to help develop “the whole child.” This includes cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and academic development.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Pine Tree Preschool unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/pine-tree-preschool-6101/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
