Our Teachers
Hello! I am Ana Lara, the founder of Lara Family Child Care. I have obtained my Associate Teacher Certificate and have over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. I am proud to offer quality care and I continuously attend trainings of KCET, Child Care Provider training given by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE); and Child Development units facilitated by the University of California Davis (UC-Davis) and East Los Angeles Community College (ELAC). Such trainings include language, literacy, science, dramatization, music, and arts & crafts for infants, toddlers, school-age children, and adults.
I invite parents and especially your son/daughter to come and get to know my family child care environment before I start working with your child. I look forward to meeting you!
Philosophy
My goal is to create a healthy, safe and fun environment to foster learning, self-expression, motivation, positive self-image, self-esteem, development, friendships between children of other cultures and customs in order to support educational readiness while in my care. Lara Family Child Care engages children of all ages and learning abilities through a daily educational plan that includes reading, writing, math, dramatic play, music, art.
