Our Teachers

Hello! I am Delia Estrada, the founder of Estrada Family Child Care Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program when I had my own young children years ago because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to know your child is being loved and cared for – and how meaningful consistent communication is, too. I have 19 years of experience working with young children, as well as 20 ECE units, and a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.

¡Hola! Soy Delia Estrada, la fundadora de Estrada Family Child Care Wonderschool. Me inspiré para comenzar mi propio programa cuando tuve mis propios hijos pequeños hace años porque veía la necesidad de programas de alta calidad en mi comunidad. Como padre, entiendo lo importante que es saber que su hijo está siendo amado y cuidado, y también lo importante que es la comunicación consistente. Tengo 19 años de experiencia trabajando con niños pequeños, 20 unidades de ECE y un Permiso de Profesor Asociado en Desarrollo Infantil.

Philosophy

At Estrada Family Child Care Wonderschool, our mission is to promote respect, creativity, honesty, self-esteem and teamwork in all children under our care so they can build the necessary foundation to grow and thrive. We believe in teaching and modeling fundamental values through routine, play, reading, singing, and learning together in a safe, stimulating environment. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished, welcomed and at home.

En Estrada Family Child Care Wonderschool, nuestra misión es fomentar el respeto, la creatividad, la honestidad, la autoestima y el trabajo en equipo en todos los niños bajo nuestro cuidado para que puedan construir la base necesaria para crecer y prosperar. Location

Estrada Family Child Care Wonderschool is located in a beautiful, spacious single-family home in Hollywood.

Our home is almost entirely dedicated to our program. Children will also have some outdoor time every day in my expansive outdoor space, where we play with our wonderful water table, explore our play houses, watch our plants grow in the sun, and do art activities in the fresh air. We even have a collection of birds that children love to observe and interact with!

At Estrada’s Family Child Care Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

Nuestra casa está casi enteramente dedicada al cuidado de niños. Los niños pasarán tiempo al aire libre todos los días en mi amplio espacio al aire libre, donde jugamos con nuestra maravillosa mesa de agua, exploramos nuestras casas de juego, observamos cómo nuestras plantas crecen al sol y hacemos actividades artísticas al aire libre. ¡Aún tenemos una colección de aves que a los niños les encanta observar e interactuar!

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Estrada Family Child Care Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
