Our Teachers

Hello! I am Victoria Salazar, the Director of Home Kids Academy Wonderschool - Canyon View. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 8 years of experience working with young children and am the lead Spanish teacher.

At our program, we believe that teachers set the foundation for learning. Each of our teachers have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, experience working with children, and strive to always grow as professionals in the early childhood education space.

Philosophy

At Home Kids Academy Wonderschool - Canyon View, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps prepare children to thrive in school and the broader world. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.

Location

Home Kids Academy Wonderschool - Canyon View is located in a bright, warm single family home in the Northwood Point neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Home Kids Academy Wonderschool - Canyon View, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/home-kids-academy-wonderschool-canyon-view-3632/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
