Hello! I am Lana Cher, the founder of Home Kids Academy Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have over 10 years of experience working with young children including special needs kids.

My both children go to this home based school and I could not be happier with my choice, because beautiful souls work here, the teachers are excellent and loving. My four-year-old has been attending for more than a year, he now can count, do math, write and speaks three languages: English, Russian and Spanish, thanks to them! My two-year-old is also doing wonderful: can count in Spanish and understands everything you tell her in any language. We do receive daily reports and pictures and videos as well as text records of what they ate, how long they slept etc. We speak Russian at home so it is very important for us to keep the native language. The great part is that they don’t feel like they go to school, they kind of think that they are visiting friend’s home for fun. It is an amazing place that I trust. Also we are signed up for swimming classes through this school, swim instructor comes to them every week. They also have a music class every week, their music teacher comes with her electronic piano and kids sing and dance. I’m writing this review because it is teacher appreciation week and these teachers are amazing! Children are always clean and happy. Three of my mom-friends have now enrolled their kids here too. Philosophy

At Home Kids Academy Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps prepare children to thrive in school and the broader world. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.

Location

Home Kids Academy Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, beautiful single family home in the Irvine neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses), and music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Home Kids Academy Wonderschool, we want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

At Home Kids Academy Wonderschool in Irvine, every child receives personalized care and grows intellectually and physically. Our focus is on nurturing social skills and offering diverse activities in music, arts, and sports. We excel in guiding young minds through their crucial early years.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
