Our Teachers

Carmen Osuna is the heart and founder of Little Friends Academy, bringing over 15 years of dedicated experience working with children. Her deep love for nurturing young minds is the driving force behind the academy’s warm, supportive environment.

Carmen considers it a true privilege to be entrusted with each child’s care. She is committed to treating every child with love, respect, and the highest level of attention—helping them feel safe, happy, and confident. She values open communication with families and believes that strong relationships are key to delivering exceptional care.

With a passion for creating enriching, bilingual learning experiences, Carmen’s mission is to guide children as they explore, grow, and discover their full potential in a nurturing and inspiring setting.

Philosophy

At Little Friends, we believe that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore. Our Spanish-immersion program nurtures curiosity and confidence by surrounding children with a rich, engaging environment where language and culture come alive every day.

We value play as the foundation of learning. Through hands-on experiences, songs, stories, and meaningful interactions, children naturally develop Spanish language skills while building problem-solving abilities, creativity, and empathy.

We celebrate diversity and inclusion, honoring each child’s unique background while fostering respect and appreciation for the Spanish-speaking world. Our caring teachers guide children as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically—helping them become kind, capable, and confident members of their community.

At Little Friends, our mission is simple: to spark a lifelong love of learning, language, and friendship.

About our program

At Little Friends Academy, we believe learning should be joyful, engaging, and full of discovery. Our mission is to create a vibrant environment where children can play with purpose, explore the world around them, and develop their unique talents while being celebrated for their achievements.

Serving children from infants (0 months) to 8 years old, our bilingual program nurtures both English and Spanish skills through hands-on experiences, creative expression, and meaningful interactions. Each day is filled with activities that strengthen motor skills, spark curiosity, and encourage a love for learning—whether it’s reading, music, art, cooking, or outdoor play.

We provide a wide range of resources, from books and flashcards to age-appropriate toys and cultural activities, designed to inspire imagination and confidence. While we encourage active participation, we always respect each child’s comfort level and pace.

Open Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, we offer warm, nutritious meals and snacks daily and proudly accept subsidized care.

At Little Friends Academy, our goal is simple: to inspire a lifelong love of learning in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
