Welcome to Shipra’s preschool & daycare Children@Play!! It’s a warm, clean and healthy environment where children learn to play and play to learn!
I am a child care provider with an academic background in Early Childhood Education from Ohlone College. I have 6 years of experience as a preschool teacher. My passion is to work with children and help them develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively! I am currently enrolling Infants (0 to 2 years) and Toddlers (3 to 5 years) part-time as well as full time.
Philosophy
We work on curriculum based worksheets everyday for toddlers to help them get ready for kindergarten. For example, we color and trace Alphabets & Numbers. We have storytime everyday which helps children learn through pictures to identify different things like colors, shapes, animals etc. We also work on fine motor skills like picking objects, pincer grasp, turning pages, sorting objects and gross motor skills like walking, balancing, jumping,throwing. Hand eye coordination with activities like beading wooden blocks.
On Friday we do creative art projects for fun which they get to take home!Projects are based on seasons,holidays,themes like animals,plants,shapes,colors etc. We also celebrate holidays and festivals.
Location
I am located closer to union city and Hayward. I am very close to freeway for parents convenience.
