Khilola Begiyeva - Director & Head Teacher
Hello! I am Khilola, the Director of Lola’s Childcare and Preschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have more then 14 years of experience working with young children.
I am originally from Uzbekistan and Russian is my first language. I worked as a teacher when I lived in Uzbekistan. When I moved to the United States I began working in a childcare center. My own son was born in 2016 - he is my inspiration for starting my own program as he is our first student!
I hold 24 units in Early Childhood Education and have completed numerous certificate programs in Child Development at San Francisco City College.
Family is truly at the heart of my family child care. My program is inspired by my son and my daughter is the assistant teacher.
I am truly excited to offer my program to children in my community.
Malika - Assistant Teacher
Hello! I am Malika and I am an Assistant Teacher at Lola’s Childcare and Preschool. Much of my childcare experience is related to caring for and teaching my younger cousins and my younger brother. I worked as a volunteer in the preschool my mom worked at several years ago. I am currently enrolled in Child Development courses at San Francisco City College. I am excited to have an opportunity to work with my own mom doing work I love!

Testimonials
“Lola’s school has been so wonderful for our little now two year old. Play focused days, with healthy and natural homemade meals, cozy, clean environment with outside time focus as well as lots of great learning. Philosophy
At Lola’s Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.
We are a bilingual program – daily care and activities will be provided in Russian and English, and children will be encouraged to speak Russian in return. Learning a second language at a young age encourages your child’s intellectual and social development.
Children will learn through play in my program and I will also provide some daily lessons on Russian and English alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors.
Location
Lola’s Childcare and Preschool is located in a bright, welcoming townhouse in the Park Merced neighborhood.
We’ve thoughtfully designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday a mix of my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.
At Lola’s Childcare and Preschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.
