Our Teachers

Hey there, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids: Isabella, who’s 11, Maximus, who’s 9, and little Juliet, who’s 6. After over 15 years in the corporate world, I’m excited to hang up my corporate hat and dive into my new adventure as a teacher.

Growing up, I spent a lot of time helping my mom run a family daycare for 14 years. Those early experiences fueled my passion for teaching children, leading me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Balancing raising my own kids, corporate life, and studying has prepared me well for this new journey as a childcare provider. I can’t wait to inspire and nurture young minds!

Philosophy

At Camp Carrillo, we believe in Play-Based Learning with healthy meals, safe space to grow, and inspiring little minds. Our philosophy is centered around creating a dynamic and engaging environment where children learn through play. We prioritize child-led exploration, imaginative play, and outdoor play to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Additionally, we emphasize social-emotional development, partnership with families, ongoing professional development, safety, health, and well-being.
