Our Teachers

Hello! I am Jennifer Macadaan, the founder of Jennifer’s Little Angel’s Palace. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have a 16 year old son who is getting ready for college. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow as an educator and believe that it is our job as adults to help children become the best versions of themselves that they can.

My mother is working with me and I love the intergenerational approach to providing care. Her name is Arlinda Abrigo, and she has been working with families for over 20 years. She is very familiar with nutrition and healthy eating and will be doing the majority of the cooking and meal preparation.

Philosophy

Hi, I’m Jennifer and I started Jennifer’s Little Angel’s Palace & Family Child Care because I believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. I hope to make your family feel at home here in this program. It is my goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In my program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished. I believe that children are intelligent and capable of making decisions that reflect what they are interested in. I also believe that teacher guidance and question asking will help them to use their natural curiosity in the best way possible.

Location

Jennifer’s Little Angel’s Palace is located in a beautiful, warm single family home in the Castro Valley neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning), and dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy).

Children will have outdoor time everyday in my private yard. We will be outside at least twice a day because I know that connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/jennifer-s-little-angel-s-palace-4843/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
