The staff here care for my son as is he were their own. I couldn't have asked for a better day care to start my child. They are kind and patient and willing to go to extra mile to make my child feel safe, accommodated, and happy.

Philosophy

Montessori is an innovative, child-centered approach to education, developed a century ago by Dr. Maria Montessori that celebrates and nurtures each child’s intrinsic desire to learn.

Montessori teachers guide rather than instruct, linking each student with activities that meet his or her interests, needs, and developmental level. The classroom is designed to allow movement and collaboration, as it also promotes concentration and a sense of order. Given developmentally appropriate materials and the freedom to follow their interests, children joyfully teach themselves.

Unique learning materials beckon from accessible shelves, inviting small hands to take on new challenges, one concept or skill at a time.

Location

Our facility is conveniently located in the beautiful, safe and peaceful neighborhood of Arcadia. We have a huge front yard and gated backyard, and we are within walking distance to the local elementary and middle school.

About our program

At Percy Dale Montessori House, our mission is to provide a safe, healthy and happy place for children.

We strive to create an environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially, at their own pace.
