Our Teachers
Hello! My name is Juana, and I am the founder and primary caregiver at Adventure Home Daycare. I have more than 21 years of experience working with young children, and caring for and educating children has always been my passion. I have 21 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including 6 ECE units in Early Childhood Program Administration and Management. I am also CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross.
Philosophy
At Adventure Home Daycare, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, supported, and encouraged to explore. Our program is play-based and hands-on, giving children opportunities to learn through play, creativity, exploration, and meaningful everyday experiences. We support each child’s individual development while helping them build confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, early learning skills, and positive relationships. Our goal is to create a nurturing home environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while preparing for their next step in school and life.

Adventure Home Daycare is located in a quiet, family-friendly residential neighborhood in Antioch, California. Our home-based setting provides a warm, comfortable environment where children can learn, play, and grow. We are conveniently located for families in Antioch and nearby communities, including Brentwood, Oakley, and Pittsburg. Families appreciate the peaceful neighborhood setting and easy access to local schools, parks, shopping, and community resources
