Our Teachers
Hi Families! My name is Susan and I am the founder of Rollie Pollie Wonderschool. My husband Jeremy and I are very excited to serve the Alameda community. We pride ourselves in offering the best care for all children enrolled in our program.
I am originally from San Diego and moved up here to attend St. Mary’s College in Moraga. I became an elementary school teacher soon after I graduated. I have worked in the Alameda, Oakland and SF Unified School Districts since 2003. I have 2 little ones at home and a cat. My daughter is 6yrs old and my son is 3yrs old. Our cat Winnie is mostly outdoors.

Philosophy
At Rollie Pollie Wonderschool, we believe that play and exploration are the foundation of development. While play is our focus, we believe that through play children learn to cooperate and communicate in a considerate manner. We believe that unstructured play leads to increased creativity and confidence. We also focus on singing, the arts and story time.
Location
Rollie Pollie Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, inviting single family home in the Alameda neighborhood.
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
At Rollie Pollie Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.
