Our Teachers

Hello! My name is Maranda Phillips, and I am the proud owner and operator of It’s All About Me Home Daycare. With an Early Childhood Education Degree and extensive experience working with children since I was just 16, I understand the unique needs of young minds. Growing up in a large family with nine siblings, I cherish the value of community and connection, which I hope to extend to families who join us.

I am the mother of three wonderful children — two boys aged 25 and 19, and a girl aged 17. My loving husband, Mr. Paris, has left his full-time job to work alongside me, ensuring each child receives the attention and care they deserve. With 29 years of togetherness and 22 years of marriage, we approach our daycare as an extension of our family.

At It’s All About Me Home Daycare, we believe in treating every child as our own. We are passionate about nurturing their growth and development in a warm, loving environment. We greatly enjoy meeting new families and watching them become a part of our community.

Philosophy

At It’s All About Me Home Daycare Center LLC, we believe in treating every child as our own, fostering their development in a warm, loving environment. Play is a cornerstone of learning, crucial for academic growth and a means for children to learn naturally. Our daily routine includes a mix of structured and unstructured play to support individual learning paces. Through play-based learning, we aim to enhance a child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth, welcoming new families into our close-knit community.

Located right outside of downtown Gastonia, Near Fuse District/ Loray Mills and convenient to I-85.

About our program

Welcome to It’s All About Me Home Daycare

For the past 21 years, It’s All About Me Home Daycare has provided a nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and school-age children. We understand the importance of creating diverse atmospheres and practices where children are exposed to experiences that enhance their thinking skills and teach them the value of sharing from an early age.

Our play-based approach features structured time that promotes emotional, educational, and physical development. We offer a wide variety of toys and encourage both child-initiated and teacher-led activities. Our activities include, but are not limited to, dramatic play, art, sand and water activities, discovery, music, manipulative play, math, building with blocks, and exploring diversity. All activities are tailored to the interests of the children to help them develop their skills and abilities.

Admissions

Welcome to Our Daycare!

At It’s All About Me Home Daycare Center, we specialize in nurturing the growth and development of children ages Infant to 5 years. Our play-based learning approach fosters emotional, educational, and physical development in a safe and loving environment.

Operating Hours: 1st—Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM 2nd—Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM 2nd—Friday, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM 3rd-Monday to Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM 3rd—Monday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM 3rd—Monday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM Limited weekend care.

Enrollment:

1. Visit Our Website: Head over to www.wonderschool.com/-6492 to schedule a tour and see if we’re the right fit for your family.

2. Requirements: During your visit, we’ll discuss all necessary requirements and forms needed for enrollment, payment amounts, due dates, and payment methods.

3. Enrollment Request: If we have no waiting list and determine your family is a match, we’ll send you an enrollment request. You’ll have 72 hours to accept the position and pay the required non-refundable deposit.

4. Confirmation: If the deposit is not received within 72 hours, the position will be offered to the next family.

5. Documentation: Once you accept, we’ll email all required enrollment documents. After completing them, we’ll set an enrollment day for your child.
