Here at TEDDYBEARS, my goal is to teach and have a very caring and safe environment for our children. I do follow the Reggio Emilia. We work very hard to help get children ready for kindergarten. Here at Teddy Bear’s and Rainbows, we teach each child social emotional skills, how to respect each other’s belongings, early literacy, and concepts like art and science. Before eating a meal, we teach children how to bless their food, and while they are eating, we talk about good nutrition versus bad nutrition. The materials we use are open-ended and invite discovery. We encourage children to think independently and teach them that there is no right or wrong way of doing something.
