Our Teachers
For nearly three decades, Kid’s Kingdom has been a cornerstone of care in our community. Originally opened 29 years ago, our center is proudly family-owned and operated, having recently been passed down to the founders’ oldest daughter and her husband. With two of her sisters leading the way as our Director and a Lead Teacher, family is at the heart of everything we do.
Backed by a dedicated team of educators—many of whom have been with us for over a decade—we combine the high standards of a group child care center with the deeply rooted warmth of a family atmosphere.
Philosophy
Our program emphasizes the social, cognitive, emotional, physical and ethical development of children using the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. which are teacher facilitated and child initiated. The developmentally appropriate and anti-bias curriculum is used to promote self-esteem; independence and learning through a balance of active and quiet, structured and unstructured indoor and outdoor play. All teaching/learning is done through play and exploration of the child’s environment.
