Testimonials

FROM PARENT SURVEYS

Emily has been caring for my oldest daughter since she was 3 months old.  In two short weeks she will be 2.  We have Emily to thank for the excellent child Natalie has grown into.  Emily takes time to work with the children and works very hard at getting new equipment and scheduling learning opportunities for the children.  Soon Emily will start to watch our youngest daughter and it gives me such a warm feeling to know that I can leave my children in her care without any worries.  I know they will be well taken care of and loved.  Emily is very special to our family, we couldn’t live without her.   ~ E.P.

It is an amazing feat Emily carries out each day.  Her love for children is really shown through her caring, nurturing, and teaching of our son, Avery and the other children in her care.  Emily spends endless energy and countless hours wiping noses, feeding by the dozen ls, encouraging growth, mediating disputes, calming fears of those with separation anxiety, putting things back together, and between all of that - TEACHING!  It’s exhausting just thinking about it, but yet everyday, she is happy with a smile upon her face to greet each little friend that arrives.  How impressive!  We appreciate everything Emily has done for us and our son, Avery. We are so fortunate to have found such a wonderful provider that cares so much for each and every child in her care as well as the children in our community!  ~ J.B.

Emily welcomes new children in her day care very well.  Before my son started going to day care I didn’t want to place him in a “home setting”.  Emily invited us in and made us feel like home.  She is very good with the children, on the floor playing with the kids all the time.  Emily handles discipline very well and seems like the kids adapted well.  Emily has a day full of fun activities everyday.  Us parents know what is going on because we get a newsletter with the daily schedule, the songs they sing and sometimes even a special recipe!  Emily definitely deserves an appreciation day!  She’s put everything into her day care and is doing an awesome job!!    ~T.A.

Emily’s love for children is obvious.  She is attentive to their needs and is virtually unflappable.  Her calm demeanor does much to keep the children calm and happy in her presence.  Emily regularly attends workshops and classes and is constantly implementing what she learns into her lessons at the day care.  Emily is skilled at incorporating music, art, and academic skills into her daily plans.  She can frequently be found sharing a book with the children and she supports and fosters the creative spirit wonderfully.  I have always felt safe leaving my daughter in Emily’s capable hands, and Emily has never taken that trust for granted.  She is safety conscious, caring, and responsible.  Rabbit Track Day Care is a welcoming environment and Emily clearly loves what she does.  ~ C.B.

My daughter has learned so much from Rabbit Track Day Care! She has learned communication skills, socializing skills, arts & crafts, cooking, and manners. Emily works with every child differently. She knows they are all their own person and recognizes each child’s special qualities. She puts 110% to make sure the children are happy. Emily has done amazing things for me and my daughter, especially when things have been rough with our family. She is just amazing! ~ A.N.

Rabbit Track Day Care has such a wide variety of activities and it seems like the provider makes each child a member of her family or extended family.  My son has learned so many beneficial skills and become more sociable and independent.  The provider is doing a great job and keeps me informed on my child’s day and is good about answering questions.  I love seeing how my child interacts with the other children and the provider.   ~C.G.

Emily is one of the most caring people we have ever met and our children love going to Rabbit Track Day Care.  My children are happy and excited about going each day and they all have gained good socializing skills as well as understanding boundaries.   She treats THE CHILDREN AS INDIVIDUALS.  One of my children has a speech delay and she has done an excellent job of helping him with his words.   ~R.C.

My son loves Emily and her family!  He has gained improved social skills and patience while attending.  Rabbit Track Day Care is like an extended family, yet with structure and fun activities.   I really like how Emily modifies the crafts for younger children, so they can participate as well. ~A.G.

Both of my children attend Rabbit Track Day Care.  My son is there all day, everyday.  My daughter attends after school everyday.  I am very happy with the program for both of my children.  By attending Rabbit Track Day Care, my son has learned more words and is more vocal.  Emily is wonderful and caring and my kids love her!   She is very warm and provides lots of one on one attention. ~ T.U.

My daughter has become more social and has better speech since attending Rabbit Track Day Care.  I love how the children all seem to get along!  Also, I love the many different activities the kids get to do each day and the parties throughout the year.  ~C.L.

My son’s vocabulary has grown tremendously since being in Rabbit Track Day Care.  He is learning how to interact with children of all ages and is eager to go everyday!  Also, I love that my child learns to sing new songs and does artwork.   Emily is a warm caring provider whom all the children love to be around!  ~K.W.

My child has learned to socialize with children his age and being able to understand his speech better.  I really like having lesson plans posted that are age-appropriate.    ~Anonymous

The provider works with the children to get them ready for school.  I am happy to know that my son enjoys going and is able to do projects and free play, which he enjoys.  ~L.T.

My child has learned so much since attending Rabbit Track Day Care – social, reading, singing, etc.  With the transition from day care to Kindergarten he was able to still see his friends at day care and still has a great connection.  This child care is unique because it is a home-based day care, but yet has the preschool schedule, and yet love and nurturing effects.  We love Rabbit Track Day Care!  ~J.N.

Since my son began attending Rabbit Track Day Care, he has become more independent and he really loves Emily.  We love Emily’s warmth and energy.   ~Anonymous

Both children have benefited with their speech, social skills, behavior skills, and learning skills since attending Rabbit Track Day Care.  The show of respect for the whole family is so awesome, as well as the care and love that is given!  Thank you seems so little to say for all that Emily does for all the children she cares for!  ~J.G.

My daughter has strengthened her independence away from me; her ability to accomplish everyday tasks that are normal for 3 year olds (dressing self, picking up, etc.) and her use of words and sentences has improved since attending Rabbit Track Day Care.  My child has excelled in this program and has grown as an individual.  ~K.C.

My child has benefited greatly by attending Rabbit Track Day Care by improved social skills, making new friends and learns something new everyday.  I think the program is GREAT!  I loved the Building Blocks for Literacy and Start With The Arts programs very much.  ~Anonymous

My son looks forward to going to Emily’s everyday and he seems to really enjoy himself.  He is talking much more and the child interaction is very good for him.  Emily has a well-balanced day planned out for the children.  ~Anonymous

Philosophy

Rabbit Track Early Learning Academy believes that play is a child’s work and that learning occurs during developmentally appropriate, child-centered activities. Children learn concepts best when they are meaningful and relevant to them. They acquire knowledge through the active exploration of their environment. Consequently, it is the teacher’s responsibility to provide a learning-enriched environment, which provides stimulating and challenging experiences for them. The teacher then acts as a facilitator: encouraging, promoting and reinforcing a child’s attempts, questions, skill development, and discoveries.
