Our Teachers
All staff must meet the following criteria: 1. A love for children and their development. 2. Must complete 10 hours of Early Childhood training through Better Kids Care Curriculum and 3 hours of Virginia Health and Safety Training. 3. Staff is First- Aid and CPR certified. 4. Staff must pass background check by the Virginia State Police and Child Protective Services. 5. Must pass FBI fingerprinting evaluation and Virginia State Police Reports. 6. Complete a yearly medical evaluation and pass TB testing. Staff is trained in Daily Health Observation. All staff is required to complete 16 hours yearly of Early Childhood Development training. Our center has on staff a National trained and certified Nutritional Manager and certified food handlers. The kitchen facilities available for use by the center is approved and licensed by the Richmond Health Department.
We have National Certified Teachers Child Development Associates(CDA) on staff who are certified in Infants/Toddlers and Preschoolers. Medication Administration Technicians are on staff.
Staff employed at the center have been certified by a physician to be free from any disability which would prevent him/her from caring for children.
We love shaping the future of our children and consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to work with you and your child. Each month of June we hold a graduation ceremony for our children that will be moving to public school in the fall. Our motto is “Changing Our Future One Child At A Time.”
