Christy’s Daycare Wonderschool has been in the field of education for over 14 years as a Licensed Family Home Center Childcare. Her main focus and concern are the safety and the wellbeing of the children in her care. And she devoted herself to work with children in an atmosphere that fosters developmental growth and critical thinking skills. Christy is very passionate about empowering children who need support through their learning experience and strive to make them feel welcomed in the environment. She believes that nurturing and caring for children is the cornerstone of human progress. Her heart is open to offering services for children with diverse backgrounds. She looks forward to supporting all families who are looking for high quality, environmental care to nurse their children and get them ready for school.

Philosophy

We believe children experience the greatest growth when they feel secure and wanted. We at Christy Wondreschool work hard to provide a warm, caring, fun, and safe environment for the benefit of our young children. We strive to enhance social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in young children. We foster equal opportunity in learning and education for all children customized for different ethnicities and backgrounds. We provide a curriculum that challenges them through taking initiative and learning through play. In addition, we encourage parents and staff to engage in strong and frequent communication for the child’s success.

About our program

Christy’s Daycare Wonderschool offers a play-based curriculum that foster children from birth to 5 years old to become an active explorer through learning and play, given then opportunities for facilitating and leadership.

Teaching children demands a lot of patience, empathy, compassion, and love. At Christy’s Daycare Wonderschool, we provide a foundation for their success. We give children an opportunity for growth and problem solving within our care.

It is important that we nurture young children to be accepting of those who are different from them. At Christy’s Daycare, we are teaching the children how to embrace differences by speaking openly and honestly about the differences between people, then follow up with statements about how people are the same. In addition to how to be proud and satisfied the way they are.

We allow them to recognize that all people have feelings like happiness, sadness, frustration, and joy. We demonstrate to them how to have respect for each other and embrace uniqueness. We show them how special are they and how to make others feel special.

We use a variety of curriculum activities and lessons to help children better understand their unique traits, as most children experience and learn their culture through the family.

At Christy’s Daycare, Wonderschool we celebrate cultural experiences in cooking different quality foods and invite the parents to learn and participate in our tradition. We encourage parents to discuss with the young ones how the customs and traditions in their own families may be similar and different from those of their friends, neighbors, and classmate. These discussions can nurture confidence and compassion in the children.

We are teaching the little one’s good manners (bilingual)

Teaching little kids Arts and crafts is a very important way to help them grow and develop. For that reason, Christy’s Daycare Wonderschool engage children to make their own design and style, while involving them in making their own art and crafts. Our curriculum includes activities where the kids enjoy the art of others, this is a way to discover children with unusual abilities.

We provide access to a classroom art center in which children select their own projects, and use reproductions to expose children to masterpiece art. The children sometimes love to follow these concepts. They learn to ask strategic questions about their project to make sure they have a good understanding of what they are delivering.

We provide literacy skills in art and crafts, cover a wide range of areas from speaking and reading, to listening and understanding.

If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/christy-s-daycare-wonderschool-6335/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
