I feel so comfortable with my child being here. She loves the amazing teachers and they provide me with information that helps me feel good about where she is!

Philosophy

We believe that a child’s early years provide a foundation for growth and development for the rest of his/her life. Our purpose is to create an environment that will provide opportunities for children to think creatively, make decisions and choices within appropriate limits, and to provide a fun and safe learning environment for the children in our care.

Location

We are conveniently located off US HWY 58 in Castlewood, VA and only minutes from the neighboring town of St. Paul. Our central location makes us an easy stop for parents living or working in surrounding areas, such as Lebanon, Abingdon, Norton and many others.

About our program

At Bright Beginnings, we believe that a child should be in an environment where love and respect are shown for each child as an individual, and where all children learn to love and respect themselves and each other. Our program provides an appropriate environment for the development of physical, language, social, cognitive, and creative skills. Our site-wide curriculum, Streamin3, focuses on academic and social-emotional skills by using child-led activities, routines, and interactions that foster creative thinking and learning. We are also a play-based center, so even while using curriculum learning we encourage all children to learn through play!
