Consuelo Garcia, Director
Mrs. Garcia graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1996 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. In 2023, she realized her dream of having her own in home childcare program after working as a pre-school teacher for over 8 years and the birth of her grand-daughter. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together.
We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.
Location
We are located in the nice neighborhood of Siena, located in the North Central side of San Antonio (close to the intersection of 1604 and 281). Our neighborhood has been one of the most in demand due to its conveniente location. We are surrounded by many young families with little kids.
About our program
At our Spanish immersed program, we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We use the interests and ideas of the children as a jumping off place. The materials are open-ended and invite discovery. Children make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions whenever possible.
