Our Teachers

Hello! I am Chaunci Newell, the founder of Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy- Wonderschool. Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy was founded on the values of Education. I grew up with the foundational understanding that Education and literacy are essential parts of childhood development. Having both parents as educators instilled in me the value and importance of a great education.

Now that I have children of my own, I am passionately teaching them these values and every other child that we have the pleasure of working with. With prayers and sacrifice I decided to step out on faith to offer a program that we hope all young children will benefit from. Understanding that if you “over” prepare your child for those first years , you’re setting them up for a life long successful educational journey.

Philosophy

Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy’s mission is to provide a dynamic and age-appropriate early learning curriculum to set young scholars up for success, while providing a nurturing environment. By exposing them to creative and fun learning activities with lots of love, our children learn the importance of education and structure early on. We instill the values of Education enrichment in our children daily by providing them with valuable education and life skills. It is our philosophy that all children can learn and it is our responsibility to figure out how to meet each child’s needs so that they achieve.

Location

Stepping Stones will prepare your child for kindergarten in a clean and safe home environment where children learn through experience. Our indoor classroom setup and outdoor play area provides the best atmosphere for engaging our little people. Stepping Stones Early Learning Academy is located in a bright , inviting home in the Westheimer Lakes neighborhood.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
