Our Teachers

Hello! I am Karen Monchez, the founder of Little Monarch’s Family Child Care. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 10 years of experience working with young children, from teaching in the classroom to being a parent.

Philosophy

Little Monarch’s Family was created to be a fun, inclusive, immersive learning experience for children. We believe in encouraging and fun activity to reach the milestones necessary to excel at the next level. Safety and communication are at the top of our list and remain a priority of ease the stress of new parents. We strive to ensure your child receives the attention and care you desire. Our program is designed to provide a well-rounded education for an academic foundation, emotional values, social and physical formation and best of care and providence, to make them feel at home while they are away from home.

Location

Little Monarch’s Family Child Care is located in a bright, welcoming home in The Village of Woodland Springs.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

At Little Monarch’s Family Child Care, we strive to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
