Grace Learning Tree was founded in 2019 by Dawn Wright, who owns and directs the school and is on campus every day, knowing each child by name. Dawn has served on the Aledo Education Foundation board for seven-plus years and stays closely involved with Aledo ISD, which shapes our kindergarten-readiness focus. Our teachers are named on our website with photos and short bios, and many have been with Grace for years — consistency we value because young children thrive with caregivers they know and trust. Philosophy
At Grace, the academic day runs on the research-based Frog Street curriculum — a play-based, whole-child approach covering language and literacy, math, science, and social-emotional growth, aligned to the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines. We keep ratios low so every child is truly known, because young children learn best from adults they trust. Faith is woven gently into our daily rhythm — mealtime prayer and a weekly Bible time — in a warm way that welcomes families of every tradition. Our Pre-K and Kinder Bridge years are shaped specifically around what Aledo ISD kindergarten expects, so children start school confident and ready.
Location
Grace Learning Tree is on E Bankhead Hwy in Aledo — the blue building across from Stillwater Meadow, with quick access off I-20. We’re central to Aledo ISD schools and an easy drive for families across Aledo, Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, Annetta, and the Parks of Aledo and Walsh Ranch neighborhoods, plus parents commuting toward Fort Worth or Weatherford. Drop-off is quick and low-stress, with dedicated parking and an access-controlled campus monitored by audio and video surveillance.
About our program
Grace Learning Tree is Aledo’s family-owned, faith-based preschool, serving children six weeks through Kinder Bridge — full-day and year-round, Monday–Friday 7 AM–6 PM. Our classrooms run on the research-based Frog Street curriculum, with low ratios and a warm Christian environment. Founder Dawn Wright is on campus daily and knows every child by name.
