Our Teachers

Highly Trained Staff: E.L.I. prioritizes the training and qualifications of our staff. All teachers and employees undergo comprehensive training, including certification by the Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee (AIMHiTN), C.P.R. for infants and toddlers, childcare licensing and health and safety standards, ratio management, and SIDS prevention. Background checks are mandatory for all employees.

Philosophy

E.L.I.’s mission is to spearhead a childcare revolution that mirrors the evolving needs of infants and toddlers. Our innovative approach seeks to redefine how we nurture and educate the youngest members of our community. E.L.I.’s programs use play as a vehicle for learning and promote collaborative learning, project-based learning, and parent engagement to foster holistic development in children.

Location

We are located in the center of South Nashville and Downtown right of Fesler’s Lane.

About our program

Enlighten Little Individuals (E.L.I.) is a pioneering Infant Childcare Center at the forefront of infant development and care. Located in Tennessee, E.L.I. aims to address the pressing childcare challenges that working parents and employers face in the region. We focus on providing comprehensive care and early education for infants aged 12 weeks to 18 months. Innovative Learning and Safety: E.L.I.’s innovative infant and toddler care approach stands out. We utilize cutting-edge technology, including intelligent baby monitoring by Owlets, tablets, and room screens, to ensure the safety and well-being of the children. All safety measures strictly comply with Tennessee sleep regulations, including regular checks during naptime.

State-of-the-Art Facilities: Our facility boasts four classrooms and a dedicated playroom. We maintain low teacher-to-child ratios, ensuring personalized care and attention. Each classroom has sensory walls and floors, incorporating technology to enhance learning.
