Mi nombre es Yanely Sierra Aguilar. Estudié en Portland Community College donde obtuve un título de asociado en Ciencias. Me considero una persona positiva y perseverante. Creo que todos los sueños son posibles y que podemos lograr todas las metas que nos proponemos. Tomando una clase de Desarrollo Humano, aprendí sobre la importancia de los primeros años de los infantes, fue aquí donde decidí que quería trabajar con niños y apoyarlos en todos los dominios del desarrollo. En esta clase aprendí sobre la importancia de las primeras experiencias positivas y diversas del niño, ya que estas enriquecen y estimulan el crecimiento futuro para una vida feliz y exitosa.
My name is Yanely Sierra Aguilar. I did my studies at Portland Community College and received a degree in sciences. I am a positive and perseverant person. I believe that all dreams are possible, and all goals can be met if we try to reach them.
I took a class on human development and learned so much about the importance of the first few years of life for infants, and this is when I decided to begin working with young children to help them grow and develop. In that same class, I also learned about the importance of a child’s first positive experiences and the variety of them, and how they can stimulate children’s growth and help them to have a successful and happy life.
Philosophy
Bienvenido a mi programa Learning Together Child Care en donde los niños son tratados y respetados como individuos en un ambiente seguro y sano que da la bienvenida a la razón, a la exploración, y a la imaginación. Los primeros años de vida de un niño son muy importantes. Es por eso que creo en la importancia de experiencias que enriquecen y estimulan al niño para un futuro exitoso mediante el juego. Mientras esté bajo mi cuidado, su hijo tendrá la oportunidad de participar en una amplia variedad de actividades que promueven todos los aspectos del desarrollo que son: crecimiento físico, desarrollo cognitivo, desarrollo afectivo y social, desarrollo del lenguaje y Desarrollo sensorial y motor.

The first years of life for a child are so important. Because of this, I believe in the importance of rich and stimulating experiences for every child for a child to find success through playing. While in my care, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that promote all aspects of their development: physical , cognitive, social & emotional, language, fine & gross motor & sensorial development.

Mi misión está centrada en apoyar al Niño a desarrollarse en un ambiente sano en el que pueda explorar, razonar, e imaginar mediante el juego. Mi programa está dividido en áreas de interés que promueven experiencias que estimulan el aprendizaje en todas las áreas de desarrollo. Las áreas son modificadas según el interés de los niños y sus necesidades.
My mission is focused on helping every child grow in a safe environment where they can explore and imagine through play. My program is divided into centers that promote learning in all areas of development. The centers are modified according to the interest of the children and their needs.
