Our Teachers
Feliz Contreras Sanchez has over 9 years of experience working with and caring for young children. She opened her program, El Nuevo Amanecer, in 2013. She loves working with children and has always wanted to support children since having her own child. She helping them learn through play and growing through different experiences.
Philosophy
We believe that children grow and learn through real experiences. Because of this, we provide children with opportunities to cook, play, and learn in nature. We help children make daily connections with everything around them. We also believe that children through repetition. We also read and sing with all the children.
Location
Our program has access to a small garden in front of the apartment complex. We love being outside!
About our program
Our program provides opportunities for children to play and enjoy our homemade Mexican food (we also teach children how to cook the food too!). We also provide children with opportunities to do activities and learn. We focus on outside time (weather permitting) and go on walks, and if we can’t, the children are able to care for their plants in our garden.
