She has a background in medicine and is currently pursuing certification in early childhood education. Our teachers assistants / aids / substitutes meet the training and standars such as CPR and first aid, and background checks required by the Department of Early Learning and Childcare.
“I accidentally started childcare. In 2016 my sister was going through a divorce and needed childcare, at that time I was taking a break from working in property management because I just had my 3rd child. I began taking childcare classes to help my sister out with her children, and then became a child care aid at LBCC for their parent classes. Then I was asked if I was a licensed provider. I did not know at that time that this was my next career move. I am happy to serve my community and to see the little one’s growth in a nurturing and safe environment. “ - Blanca Morgan, Awesome Blossom 🌸

About our program
We have two locations in SE. Albany OR
Mini Blossoms was created as an infant and toddler childcare center separate from our preschool center, Awesome Blossom. We participate in self-sufficiency programs and support all family structures. Children’s development is observed and assessed, and their growth is documented. Families are guided and referred to additional services such as health clinics, early intervention, or any other local community entity for further assistance when needed.
