About our program
OUR PROGRAM Curriculum At Growing Minds, our curriculum blends the best of Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies to create a learning environment that is child-centered, hands-on, and rooted in respect for each child as a capable, curious learner. Our curriculum aligns with the New York State Early Learning Guidelines. Each lesson and activity is intentionally planned to nurture the whole child while remaining flexible enough to follow children’s interests and natural curiosity. While our curriculum follows themes throughout the year, we are always guided by the children themselves. If a child becomes fascinated by butterflies, rain, or how things grow, we follow that curiosity and build learning experiences around it. This emergent approach keeps children engaged, motivated, and invested in their own learning. Our bilingual program (Spanish & English) is woven throughout the curriculum, exposing children to both languages naturally through songs, stories, conversations, and daily routines. This approach builds strong language foundations and cultural pride from an early age.
