Our Teachers

My name is Glenys Duran and I have 10 years of experience as a child care provider and I also have my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I am taking college credits in early childhood education and am also in the process of earning my associate’s degree. For us, education is very important, that is why our staff is also at the forefront with the requirements. Victor Duran my assistant has 10 years of experience and also has his CDA credential. All my staff is trained with the first aid certificate (CPR). The reason why I decided to become a child care provider was because as a mother I experienced firsthand the difficulties that many of us have to face with our children. Since many times we have to choose whether to work or take care of our children. For me, as a mother of three children, it was very difficult for me to pay for the care of all three. So as I was volunteering at the center where they took care of my eldest daughter. I saw a potential to be able to spend time with my children and at the same time be able to start my own business. I understand the dilemma and pain of all mothers and fathers who have to leave their most valuable treasure in the hands of others. That is why it is so important for us to treat children with a lot of love because in them I see the needs that my children faced.

Philosophy

We support an individualized curriculum and strive to provide children with a quality “home-away-from-home” atmosphere while promoting the development of a positive self-image, self-discipline, and cooperation in each child.

We provide a fun learning environment that is based on developmentally appropriate practices and activities. Age-appropriate programs enhance each child’s development by providing an environment in which all activities are appropriate for their individual differences.

Our children progress naturally because they’re constantly stimulated to be creative and curious, to learn and have fun learning. By instilling in them a desire to learn rather than pushing them to learn “advanced” material, we are positively preparing them for the tough challenges ahead.

As children grow through our program, they will be introduced to many creative and fun tools and materials that increase curiosity and learning. Our comprehensive early childhood education programs focus entirely on the needs of the individual child; we learn your child’s strengths and build on them with stimulating activities and lots of positive reinforcement.

Daily activities utilize early math, science, motor and social skills.
