Great daycare! No complaints at all. My toddler loves going there and the staff is very caring.

Philosophy

At Safari Daycare, we believe deeply that the first years of a child’s life are the most important for setting them up for success. We know that a safe, stimulating environment can lay the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development that will follow once a child moves on from our program!

Location

We have dedicated the first floor of our single-family home to Safari Day Care, where children are able to use our private backyard for outside play each day. Located a few blocks from Downtown Flushing, we are a short distance from the Murray Hill stop on the Long Island Rail Road.

About our program

Because we have a low adult:child ratio, we truly get to know your child. As a program with a mixed-age environment, we ensure that your child will grow and learn alongside peers at all different ages! As a result, we can meet your child exactly where they are through close attention from our team.

We provide a wide variety of activities that occur each day. Whether it’s painting or puzzles, art projects or building with blocks, we have a plan to engage kids each day. Often times, children are very proud to bring what they worked on home to mom and dad!

We celebrate your child like they’re part of our family! We love to take photos during the day to share with parents, but we also invite you in for special events. We often have birthday parties and celebrate holidays together, which get kids excited (and impact our decorations and activities!)
