Our Teachers

Founder Jill Moses is an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst, special education teacher, and nonprofit leader with a deep commitment to equity and inclusion. With 15+ years of experience working in early childhood education and special education, Jill has dedicated her career to ensuring that all children—especially those who are neurodivergent or have been historically underserved—receive the high-quality care and opportunities they deserve.

Her journey began working as an Early Intervention therapist, Department of Education District 75 6:1:1 teacher and then ran an Early Intervention center in the Bronx, and that experience inspired her to launch The Inspired Community Project (TICP). Under her leadership, TICP has become a welcoming space where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.

Our Staff Jill is joined by a team of passionate educators, therapists, and family advocates who collectively bring 50 years of experience to the program. The staff includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts, certified early childhood and special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior apprentices, many of whom live in and reflect the Bronx community we serve. This diversity strengthens TICP’s ability to provide culturally responsive, individualized care while building authentic relationships with families.

Together, Jill and her team are not only providing a safe and neurodiversity-affirming daycare environment, but also building a model for how early childhood education and behavioral support can be truly inclusive.

Philosophy

Built on the belief that every child deserves to learn, play, and grow in an environment where they feel safe, included, and celebrated. The program blends high-quality early childhood education with evidence-based behavioral supports, ensuring that children of all abilities—especially those who are neurodivergent or receiving early intervention—can thrive alongside their peers.

The curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child. Each day is structured with engaging, play-based learning experiences that support language, social-emotional growth, and foundational academic skills. Staff use research-backed strategies from early childhood and special education to meet children where they are, tailoring instruction and care to their unique strengths and needs.

At the heart of TICP’s program are its core values:

Inclusion: Every child is welcomed and supported, with a focus on building community and celebrating diversity.

Equity: Families deserve access to affordable, high-quality childcare and early intervention, regardless of background or circumstances.

Collaboration: Parents, caregivers, educators, and therapists work together as partners to create consistent, supportive experiences.

Joyful Learning: Play is central to how children grow. TICP prioritizes environments where curiosity, creativity, and confidence can flourish.

Through these values, TICP creates a nurturing space that not only prepares children for school, but also honors their individuality and strengthens families.

Location

Our Location & Neighborhood

TICP is conveniently located at 3681 Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx, right near major highways and directly under the Pelham Bay Park stop on the 6 train. That prime spot makes us easily accessible and rooted in one of the area’s liveliest, greenest neighborhoods.

What Makes Our Location Great

Transit Access: The Pelham Bay Park station, which serves the 6 train, is just steps away. Additionally, there are several bus routes nearby that make getting here from different parts of the Bronx (and beyond) quite doable.

Neighborhood Character & Green Spaces: We are just across from Pelham Bay Park, NYC’s largest park. That means children and families have immediate access to sprawling green lawns, playgrounds, walking trails, and Orchard Beach in the summer—all great options for outdoor activities, field trips, or weekend family outings.

About our program

At The Inspired Community Project (TICP), we believe that every child deserves a joyful, supportive, and inclusive space to learn, play, and grow. Our Behavioral Daycare Center in the Bronx was designed with equity and access at its core—ensuring that families who have historically been excluded from consistent, culturally relevant services finally have a place where their children are welcomed exactly as they are.

We serve children of all abilities, with a special focus on neurodivergent learners and families navigating developmental differences. Our classrooms blend therapeutic supports with early childhood education, so children receive both high-quality care and evidence-based interventions in a setting where belonging comes first.

Inclusion at TICP means more than open doors—it means removing barriers. From multilingual materials and staff who reflect our community, to sensory-friendly spaces and individualized supports, we make sure children and families feel seen, valued, and celebrated.

Our work is rooted in the belief that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. That’s why our team includes parents, educators, clinicians, and apprentices from the very neighborhoods we serve. Together, we are building a model where equity, empowerment, and advocacy aren’t add-ons, they are the foundation.

At TICP, inclusion isn’t a program—it’s our promise.
