Our Teachers

Hello! I am Adjeley! Welcome!!!  I am a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, specializing in child care development. I am also  a mother of three precious angels and the founder of Jadore Gems Family Daycare. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 16 years of experience working with young children including working  as a medical professional over 15 years. I take pride in building the developmental  stages in children.

Philosophy

At Jadore Gems Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps prepare children to thrive in school and the broader world. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe space.

My program emphasizes exploring the basic concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. I believe that these topics provide a strong basis for cognitive, social, and emotional growth, as well as preparing children for the modern world. I have researched S.T.E.A.M. extensively and will prepare curriculum based on S.T.E.A.M. activities.

Location

Jadore Gems Family Daycare is located in a welcoming, spacious condominium in the Parkchester neighborhood.

We’ve thoughtfully designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.

At Jadore Gems Family Daycare, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program!

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
