Our Teachers

Arabesca De La Cruz

I am certified as a New York State child care provider, with over 12 years of experience in this field. In these 12 years I have served over 100 families, we have high recommendations and references from parents.

I have an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University and also the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) which added to my experience gives me the knowledge and tools necessary to provide high quality child care and education.

Both I and the entire staff remain in constant and progressive training and as the program director I strive to ensure that all staff have the same passion and love for children, the willingness to serve and meet the needs of our families, as well as being free of violations and in full compliance with the regulatory standards required by the regulator.

I believe that personalized work in small groups allows us to get closer to our children and identify their needs in order to offer the best alternatives for their development and well-being.

Philosophy

Our Philosophy of Education focuses on the playful and experientially mediated structure as a learning methodology. It has been shown that play promotes the comprehensive development of the child, including cognitive, linguistic, physical, social and affective aspects. Along the same lines, we believe that through play we can teach children the basic principles of moral and social behavior.

We strive to create an ideal space full of exploration and learning opportunities in which children can socialize with each other, since interaction with other children and adults provides them with a series of learnings such as: Understanding and managing their emotions, sharing games and ideas, creating the possibility of finding new friends, the formation of adequate self-esteem, respect for oneself and others, tolerance, communication, the importance of waiting, the importance of listening, sharing, learning to make their own decisions, being independent and problem solving, all these learnings contribute greatly to the social and emotional development of children.

We believe that children who have played well will be participative, productive and healthy citizens in the future; but above all, they will be successful in their interpersonal and academic relationships.

Location

We have an accessible location, you can use either the 6, 4 and 5 trains or also the M125, BX1, BX2 buses. We have several schools nearby, playgrounds, churches, fire department and police station, pharmacies, fast food restaurants.
