My name is Dominique Turner I am 33 yrs of age, with 5 children of my own. I am from California and moved to Las Vegas in 2018. I graduated in 2008.I am training to be an ABA therapist while working with children with special needs. I have always wanted my own childcare business and have been working with children for 8 plus yrs. I enjoy working with children as well as helping them and having good conversation to understand and get to know each child individually, while showing them love and helping them become independent.
Philosophy
The philosophy at Kids Grow Learning Academy is to provide the foundation for children to achieve the skills they need before continuing their education. To achieve this we realized that the developmental needs and interests of each child are unique and special along with the commitment that every child is to be valued, respected, and cherished for the individual he or she is. We assist and encourage your child to take steps toward responsible self-direction. Our curriculum focuses on the concept that children learn best through play. It is important to have opportunities to construct their own knowledge through creativity, interaction, exploration, or role models. At Kids Grow Learning Academy, age appropriate classrooms are arranged into learning centers to enhance a child’s playing for 4 weeks to 12 years old. We believe children to be the greatest treasure and they key to the future. A successful future therefore depends on the quality, nurturing care and development of today’s children.
