Jasmine Cole, Director
I graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education, and I immediately became an educator. Since then, I’ve received 2 Master’s Degrees in Education. As a devoted parent with a deep-rooted faith, I aspire to lead Growing Minds Christian Academy to cultivate a nurturing environment where children not only learn academically but also grow spiritually. My own experiences as a parent and educator have taught me the profound impact of early childhood education infused with Christian values, and I am passionate about providing that same enriching experience for all children in our care.
Message from the Teacher, Andrea Rhodes - I am so excited to be teaching here at Growing Minds Christian Academy! My name is Andrea Rhodes, I have taught for over 25 years and received my teaching certificate in the preschool core curriculum. I also have taken classes at CSN in Early Childhood Education. My trainings over the years have given me the expertise needed in classroom management and giving children the support they need to grow and master new skills. Nurturing their souls is just as important as guiding their minds to know who they are in the eyes of their creator.
I am a follower of Jesus and strongly believe in a faith based education, it sets a firm foundation for young children. I look forward to building a great school community with you and your child.
Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not depart from it.”

Philosophy
At Growing Minds Christian Academy, we believe in cultivating a holistic approach to education, addressing the intellectual, social-emotional, and spiritual development of each child. Our philosophy centers on creating a safe and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. Through a balance of play, academic instruction, social-emotional support, and faith based teachings, we aim to spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love for learning grounded in Christian values. Together, we are committed to fostering a community where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Location
Growing Minds Christian Academy is located in a quiet neighborhood near the intersection of Craig Road and Valley Drive in a single family home. It is within a mile and a half of Lucille Bruner Elementary School and Claude & Stella Parson Elementary School.
About our program
Growing Minds Christian Academy offers preschool services in a home school setting for children ages 3 to 5 and a small class size with no more than 10 students per class. Children will be instructed in the areas of literacy, math, fine and gross motor skills, social/emotional skills, arts and Christianity.
Growing Minds Christian Academy has a selective enrollment process that ensures that we are the right fit for your family and your child’s developmental journey. We believe it takes a village to raise and educate a child, and we are looking for families to team with.
Throughout the year, there will be opportunities for parents to attend family engagement days and parenting classes.

Admissions
Growing Minds Christian Academy has a selective enrollment process that ensures that we are the right fit for your family and your child’s developmental journey. We invite families to submit an application so we can learn more about your child and determine how we can best support their growth in a Christ-centered environment. After submitting an application, you will be contacted to schedule a time to meet with the director and tour the facility. If we are the right fit for you and your family, enrollment can begin immediately if there is an open seat. In the event there are no openings, your child will be placed on a waitlist.
Children are required to be 3 years of age by September 15th of the current year to be admitted to Growing Minds Christian Academy. Families can enroll their child in either AM or PM session. 3 year olds will only be admitted to the AM session. Enrollment at Growing Minds Christian Academy is as follows:
Monday - Friday AM session 8:00-11:30am PM session 12:00-3:30pm
