Ms. Gayle, Owner/Teacher

Education & Experience- In childcare for over 35 years with a CDA.

MS. Gayle has served children in California and Nevada.

Philosophy

At Ms.Gayle’s Little School, we follow the Play-Based curriculum philosophy, which is a non-academic approach to developing skills designed to provide a firm foundation for later academic success. We help your child develop feelings of security, accomplishment, and self-esteem while living the daily and weekly rhythms that are woven into the cycle of the year. On any given day, we may enjoy art, storytelling, movement, and local excursions to experience the world around us. Children are encouraged to explore and learn through unstructured play, which fosters lifelong creativity and intellectual curiosity.

Location

Ms. Gayle’s Little School is located in a single-family home in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

We aren’t far from White School Park and Sunset Park.

Our school has been thoughtful designed to provide a safe and fun learning environment for your children. We have plenty of space for children to engage in learning and exploring, arts and crafts, as well as rest time, and provide supervised outdoor play time in our beautiful and large backyard.

We would love for you to come see our beautiful space for yourself! Please reach out and schedule a tour. We look forward to welcoming you and your child!

About our program

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide your child with a safe, nurturing, CHILD INITIATED, PLAY BASED environment that encourages your child’s growth cognitively, physically, emotionally and socially. Though our structured yet flexible schedule, each child is given the opportunity to explore, learning at their own pace. We believe that these early learning experiences set the stage for a love of lifelong learning.
