Our Teachers

Briona Anderson - Director/Head Teacher

Briona was born and raised in Minnesota. From a very early age Briona was always great with kids and loved to teach them and care for them. Briona started her first teaching job as being the teacher in her church nursery during bible study and Sunday services as a teen. Before Briona started Anderson Family Daycare she was the office manager/lead teacher with Strong Family Daycare in NV. Briona graduated with a associates degree in healthcare administration and she will be continuing her education in child development and early education. Briona has the experience but also many hours of education in child development and early education. Briona was a afterschool program teacher for 2 years before she moved to LAs Vegas 3 years ago. Briona is a mother of two boys Cameron & Cairo. They have been her inspiration and motivation to spread her love for children and open up the daycare.

Nikki Patterson - AM lead Teacher

Nikki was born and raised in Las Vegas. Growing up, she filled the mother role for her younger brother, helping raise him as the only female figure in his life. During her teenage years she was a long-term babysitter for multiple families and their children as well as a live-in nanny on the weekends for one family for two years. Although not having any kids of her own, she looks forward to being a mother in the future because of her love for working with children. She’s young but she has the experience, skills and devotion to her career in child care.

Philosophy

Our philosophy here at Anderson Family Daycare is to allow the children to learn in a play-based environment. Children in a play-based setting will not only help with the child’s development stage but also their social skills. While there will be a 12 month cirrculium at the daycare, my goal is to allow the children to play to find discovery of self and discovery for the world. I believe in children having a bright and creative imagination. At Anderson Family Daycare we will allow the children to be the drivers of their learning process.

Location

Here at Anderson Family Daycare we have 2 classrooms (Classroom & Nursery) and a big, safe, a secured backyard for your little ones to explore.

About our program

What makes Anderson Family Daycare special is that we are a home away from home for your child. We have a play-based philosophy. We treat the kids like they were our own giving them love and redirecting them when needed to make sure they succeed. We have sensitive and trained caregivers who are committed to the center. We keep a low child-to-teacher ratio to make sure your child receives the attention they deserve as needed. At Anderson Family Daycare we provide a fun, creative, and clean play space for your littles to use their imagination.
