Our Teachers

Hello! My name is Amber, and I am the owner and provider of Future Roots Home Childcare. With over six years of experience working with children, I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.

I hold an Associate’s Degree and am CPR and First Aid certified. I am also registered with the Nevada Registry and am committed to ongoing professional development to provide high-quality care and early learning experiences for the children in my program.

I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships. At Future Roots Home Childcare, I provide hands-on activities, outdoor play, creative learning experiences, and opportunities that encourage independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Every child is unique, and I strive to meet each child’s individual developmental needs while helping them build important social, emotional, and academic skills.

As both a childcare provider and a parent, I understand the trust families place in me each day. My goal is to build strong relationships with parents through open communication, compassion, and dependable care, creating a warm environment where children can thrive.

At this time, I am the sole provider in the program, allowing me to build meaningful relationships with each child and offer consistent, personalized care.

Philosophy

Our Program Philosophy

At Future Roots Home Childcare, our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which views children as capable, curious, and creative learners. I believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, ask questions, make choices, and express themselves in meaningful ways.

My program focuses on child-led exploration, hands-on learning, and creating experiences that encourage curiosity and imagination. Through art, nature, sensory experiences, science, storytelling, music, and open-ended activities, children are encouraged to discover the world around them and share their ideas in their own unique ways.

I believe the environment plays an important role in learning, and I strive to create a welcoming space where children feel comfortable exploring, creating, and building independence. I value the process of learning over the final product, allowing children the freedom to experiment, problem-solve, and develop confidence.

At Future Roots Home Childcare, my goal is to nurture the whole child by supporting social-emotional growth, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. I believe strong partnerships with families are essential and work to provide a caring, respectful, and supportive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
