Hello, I’m Destiny Romero, the director of Bright Beginnings. My journey into childcare began with the arrival of my son, who has special needs. The challenge of finding suitable care for him ignited a determination to establish this essential service in my community. Previously a nurse, my innate desire to nurture and educate children led me to transition into childcare. What truly captivates me in this role is witnessing the growth and learning of each student, guiding them through experiences and facilitating their discovery with the necessary support. As a certified RBT specializing in developmental delays, autism, and Down syndrome, I bring a wealth of expertise to our program. Additionally, my certification as a medical assistant further enriches our team.
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.

Step into our backyard oasis, where laughter fills the air and imaginations run wild amidst the greenery. Inside, our sensory room awaits, a haven for exploration and stimulation. Our play area buzzes with excitement as little ones engage in endless adventures. When hunger strikes, our lunch area beckons, offering nourishment and camaraderie. And for those inevitable mishaps, fret not, for we have a dedicated bathroom solely for our program, ensuring that our students are always comfortable and prepared with extra clothes on hand. At Bright Beginnings, every corner is infused with love, learning, and endless possibilities.
