Our Teachers

Lynnette Chavez, Childcare provider

In 2013, she realized her dream of having her own in home childcare program after the birth of her son. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class sizes and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

Philosophy

Our program is all about striving to create a safe and caring community of young explorers. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together.

Location

We’re are located in the University area, in the neighborhood of University hills Elementary school, We’re a few blocks from Conlee Elementary school, with easy access to transit. it’s a peaceful, quiet location in town.

About our program

Our program we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We use the interests and ideas of the children as a jumping off place. The materials are open-ended and invite discovery. Children make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions whenever possible.
