Our Teachers

I have worked with children for over 40 years. What I love about working with children is stimulating their creativity and imagination. Children grow quickly and I feel honored to be a part of their growth and development. Many of the children I have worked with have been 2nd and 3rd generation clients. I am committed to the families I serve and they feel comfortable continuing the tradition of working with me as they have children. I love watching the kids I care for grow and some of my proudest moments have been attending their high school graduations.

Philosophy

My philosophy is to care for the children in my day care as I would want someone to care for my own children. I love watching how they interact with each other. Children grow and develop through play, and interactions with other children and adults. They learn good behavior by imitating the behavior of adult role models and through positive interactions with other children. Adults need to provide children guidance concerning proper social interactions and behavior. I provide guidance for these children so that they grow up being respectful to themselves as well as others.

I provide different settings in my home for children to enjoy, and learn and express themselves. I have indoor activities, and outside play area, reading area, and a homework area for older children.

Location

We are located near Kline Park, off of Mesquite and Griggs.

About our program

To assist working parents with childcare in a friendly, family oriented home environment as well as providing earning through games, songs, and books. Children will also learn social skills and self respect. At Connie’s Day Care, children will be provided with three home cooked meals and snacks, daily.
