Our teachers are educated, nurturing, and loving to every child that walks through the door. Each teacher has a degree or is in the process of obtaining their degree in early education. Each one of us has chosen St. John’s Preschool Plus as our home and has worked tirelessly to create a program we enjoy and are proud of.

At St. John’s UMC Preschool, maintaining low staff-to-child ratios is crucial to our culture, ensuring that we exceed state minimum standards in every class. With over 35 years of experience, St. John’s Preschool Plus offers exceptional early childhood education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We hold the highest accreditation ratings in both state and national levels, emphasizing a project-based learning approach and monthly themed learning to make education fun and engaging. Our commitment to providing quality education includes introducing Sign Language and Bilingual education in our classrooms, promoting a stimulating environment for learning and exploration.
Location
St. John’s Methodist Church and Preschool loves the community we serve. We are on the corner of Arizona street and Phoenix street, located right next to Zuni Elementary!
About our program
St. John’s Preschool Plus is a Ministry of St. John’s United Methodist Church that puts the children and family first. We believe that the family is the first and most important teacher. We follow the children’s interests and implement them in the classroom activities to make meeting milestones fun and exciting.
