Philosophy

Our philosophy is that every child has unique gifts and abilities that need to be celebrated and nurtured. We believe that children learn best within the context of relationships and through playful interactions within their environment. We believe that the early years hold enormous promise for every child to reach their full potential. A child’s growth, development and behavior is an ongoing process that must be facilitated constantly through guidance and role modeling. Here at Play to Learn children will learn language/communication skills, social/emotional skills, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, and creativity. While some of the activities available to your children are teacher initiated, all of them are created for your child to learn to their full potential. Your children will obtain the opportunity to initiate learning through play and other interests. Our teachers role is to guide, direct, and role model in the teaching and learning process.

Our mission is to provide local community families with premium education and care in a clean, safe, healthy and fun environment at reasonable coast utilizing a staff that represents diversity. We continuously improve our services by evaluating and incorporating effective methods, models, and research to serve the children and families, We will make sure that our services are provided by people who reflect diversity and welcome diversity in our community. We promise to establish an integrated, multi-disciplinary system that’s supports the design, implementation, and the evaluation of our practices in ways that are respectful of and responsive to each child and their families.

About our program

Play to Learn is a 5 Star facility.

Licensed, Family oriented. Providing safe, nurturing, and quality care for 20 years.

Spacious Classroom - Small teacher to children ratios.

New and Improved Outdoor play area’s

Face Masks required for ages 2 and Up - Including ALL Staff Members

Full & Part Time programs for ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.

FREE NM Pre-K for 3 and 4 year olds.

Our Staff consists of qualified and experience teachers and caregivers. Each staff member has been hand selected. Continual education is required of all staff members to stay abreast of Early Childhood Education.

Our program is not academically oriented. What that means is we do not teach by memory, using worksheets ect. Our staff creates a weekly curriculum based off the needs of the children and family goals.

If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/play-to-learn-inc-7776/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
